The Centre of Excellence only certifies internal European Commission staff. However, the PM² GROUP uses the exact same guidelines to issue certificates. Hence, everyone who is certified by the Centre of Excellence can request a PM² GROUP certificate and social badge. This facilitates the level playing field for certifications.
The PM² Certification program is based on the internal certification guidelines of the European Commission with the same certification levels for theoretical and practical knowledge. To facilitate a common understanding of proven skills for each certification level among all professionals — both EU staff and non-EU staff — we issue certificates for EU professionals with the same internal certification achievement.
